My husband, who is NOT a health nut loves these pancakes. I make them at least once a month. Yes, they're healthy, but also very yummy!

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup ultra-fine old-fashioned oats, like an organic brand
- 1-1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup fat-free milk
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup splenda or sugar
- 4 tablespoons chopped walnuts
How To Make oatmeal-wheat pancakes w/ walnuts

Step 1In lg bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

Step 2In another bowl, combine buttermilk, milk, oil, egg and sugar. Mix w/ mixer on medium, until smooth. Mix wet ingredients w/ dry ingredients until smooth. stir in walnuts.

Step 3Spray a medium skillet w/ cooking spray made w/ canola oil. Place skillet over medium heat. Ladle 1/4 cup batter into skillet, cook 2-4 min each side, or untill golden. repeat w/ remaining batter. serve w/ warm maple syrup.
