This simple recipe comes from Our Irish Grannies' Recipes. This is what our Irish ancestors would be fed when they were under the weather--a simple dish that would not upset the stomach, saving the body's energy to heal itself rather than using it to digest heavy foods. Definitely a comfort food! Photo: recipes.com
