This is a great recipe to have when you are out of biscuit mix. Use it just like you would biscuit mix. I can't remember who shared this recipe with me, but it has really come in handy. I store mine in the fridge to prolong the life of it.

Ingredients
- 10 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups shortening
- 1/2 cup baking powder
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
How To Make homemade biscuit mix

Step 1In a very large mixing bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.

Step 2With a pastry blender cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. STORE IN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER UP TO 6 WEEKS. Use to make pancakes or biscuits or any recipe calling for biscuit mix.
