Ingredients

  • 2 slice
    bread
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    milk
  • 3-4 dash(es)
    pink or red food colouring
  • 1
    heart shaped cookie cutter
  • 1
    paintbrush, eyedropper or spoon

How to Make Heart Toast

Step-by-Step

  1. Use a heart cookie cutter to mark the shape of a heart into a slice of bread. Be careful not to completely cut through the bread. You just want to make an indentation.
  2. Take a little bit of milk, maybe 2-3 tablespoons, and add 3 or 4 drops of red or pink food colouring until you get the shade you want.
  3. Use a paint brush to paint the heart red with the dyed milk. Or if you don't have a paint brush, use a spoon or eye dropper and gently drop some of the dyed milk onto the painted heart.
  4. Toast it in the toaster oven (not an actual toaster) to desired toastedness!
