grandma statom's yeast rolls
This is a recipe I got from my Grandma Statom. It's very easy, even if you are a beginner at making rolls. Grandma was a cook in a restaurant until she retired. I remember she would fix huge dinners every time we would go to her house. We used to say we were coming to see you, don't cook, but once we got there, she would have a huge meal cooked for us like it was nothing. I miss you, Grandma.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Grandma Statom knew how to make yeast rolls. Slightly sweet and fluffy, they're an old-fashioned dinner roll recipe. Baking them at a high temperature means the outside is slightly firm, but the inside is soft and pillowy. They take a little time to make, like many old-fashioned recipes, but are well worth waiting for. Enjoy with any meal, but they'd be great dipped in a warm bowl of soup.

- 1 package dry yeast
