When I do a Sunday Beef Roast, it always has to have the Yorkshire Pudding... I served a LDS Mission in England for 2 years back in 1972 to '74... I LOVE this Pudding...

Ingredients For fireman bob's yorkshire pudding my way....

  • 4 lg
    eggs - beaten
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 3/4 c
    pan drippings ( from roast )
  • 1 3/4 c
    flour - sifted
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    cayenne pepper or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp
    caraway seeds
  • 1/4 tsp
    rosemary, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    thyme, dried

How To Make fireman bob's yorkshire pudding my way....

    Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Combine eggs, milk, pan drippings, flour, salt, cayenne pepper, caraway seeds, and rosemary, and thyme. Beat for 3 minutes

    While beating mixture, coat bottom and sides of a muffin pan with butter or remaining pan drippings. VERY IMPORTANT... Place muffin pan in oven to heat pan before adding mixture. When mixture has been beaten for 3 minutes, pour mixture into muffin pan making sure all cups are evenly distributed. Place in oven at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes, lower heat to 350 degrees F and cook for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately with your Roast.
