Dinner Yeast Rolls
3 call purpose flour plus if needed
2/3 cmilk (110 - 115 degrees)
5 Tbspbutter, melted
2 pkgyeast (for large rolls)
2eggs, slightly beaten
How to Make Dinner Yeast Rolls
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk with 1 tsp. of the sugar. Add melted butter. Let set 5 - 10 minutes. Add eggs, salt, and remaining sugar to yeast mixture. Stir in flour one cup at a time with your mixer. After all the flour had been added, knead with a mixer dough paddle for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Place in a oiled bowl and let rise until double in size (approximately an hour). Punch down on a dough cloth and pinch off medium size balls of dough. I use a muffin pan and place two balls in each muffin cup brushed with butter. Let rolls rise again.
- Start baking in a cold oven with temperature set at 375 degrees. Bake 18 - 22 minutes or until slightly brown on top. Brush lightly with melted butter.
