1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 x 2-inch loaf pan. Using an eclectric mixer, beat butter and sugar together in a medium mixing bowl, until light and fluffly. Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream, mixing thoroughly . Mix in dried cranberries. Combine flour and baking powder in a seperate bowl. Gradually add to cranberry mixture, mixing well.
2Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake 1 hour 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of cake comes out clean. Remove from pan, let cool completely on a wire rack.
