A long time friend of Grandma W's, Aunt Sally Accurso, made these for me. You need this recipe to make the balloon buns, which are incredible!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup warm water (105-115 degrees)
- 2 packages dry yeast
- 3 - eggs at room temperature
- 5 1/2 cups flour
How To Make basic sweet dough (for balloon buns)

Step 1Scald milk. Stir in sugar, salt and margarine. Cool. Pour warm water on yeast. add luke warm mixture, eggs and 5 c flour. Knead 7-10 min. Grease bowl, cover and let rise 1 hour.
