How to Make 60 Minute Pan Rolls
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast and salt.
Heat milk, water and margarine (120-130 degrees) Stir into dry ingredients. Mix in egg and enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead on floured surface 7-8 minutes. Cover and let rest 10 minutes.
- Pinch off equal size balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. (For electric oven, turn oven on 200 degrees for 1 minute, then turn off. For gas oven, the pilot light should be enough heat to make the dough rise.
- Put bread in warm oven for 20 minutes to rise. Take out of oven and preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake 15 minute or until light brown. When I take mine out of the oven, I have melted margarine and lightly put on top of rolls.
