I first discovered these at a church covered-dish about 30 years ago. Now it's a family favorite we serve at Thanksgiving every year.

Ingredients
- 2 packages active dry yeast in 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 1/2 cups milk, warmed
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 cups all purpose flour
How To Make 60 minute hot rolls

Step 1Mix ingredients and let set 15 minutes.

Step 2Make into rolls; cover and let rise 15 minutes.

Step 3Bake at 425° for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush with butter and serve hot.
