mini applesauce puffs
I would make these for my kid's school parties when they were in grade school and when I was home-room momming. It was a healthy and good for you choice that teachers were pleased to have served as treats.

Yields 24 mini's
Ingredients
- 2 cups package biscuit mix like bisquick
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 - egg, ighty beaten
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- TOPPING:
- 2 tablespoons melted margarine
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
How To Make mini applesauce puffs

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2Combine biscuit mix, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

Step 3Add applesauce, milk, egg and oil. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds.

Step 4Grease 2 small muffins tins and fill two-thirds full. (yields 24)

Step 5Bake in 400 degree oven for 12 minutes. Or until it comes out clean with a tooth pick. Ovens may vary.

Step 6Dip tops in melted butter and then into sugar mixed with cinnamon. Yeilds 24
