Lisa's Blueberry Bran Muffins
WHAT YOU NEED
·1/4 cup crisco, not oil ( i use tenderflake )
·1/2 cup brown sugar
·1 cup milk with 1/2 tsp baking soda mixed in
·1 1/2 tsp baking powder
·1 1/2 cups bran
·1 cup flour
·1 cup frozen blueberries
How to Make Lisa's Blueberry Bran Muffins
- Pre heat oven to 350. Grease a muffin tin or line with muffin cups.
- In a bowl mix together flour baking powder set a side . Measure cup pour milk and mix in 1/2 tsp baking soda set aside.
- I use my kitchen aid mixer to make these. Cream together, Crisco, sugar and eggs. Add in flour mixture, bran and milk and beat till mixed well. Fold in your frozen berries
- Fill up your muffin tin and bake for 15-20 minutes or till done when tested with tooth pick. My whole family loves these, I make a fresh batch everyday, they are so YUMMMYYYYY and easy to make
