Thyme and Garlic Floating Bread

I actually came up with this recipe because I had made Navy Bean Primavera Soup, and I thought I had some Rustic Aubergine Bread left. But alas and alack, it wasn't so. The kids had pilfered the goods.

So this was a quick fix. We loved it. And we possibly added two or three, floaters per bowl, but we aren't tellin'!

2 c
quakers harina preparada
2 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
chopped garlic
1/2 c
2 Tbsp
white wine
1 tsp
lemon pepper salt

How to Make Thyme and Garlic Floating Bread


  • 1Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Then knead with your hand.
  • 2Take dough and roll into ping pong ball sized balls. Then flatten between hands. Use your desired shape cookie cutter.
  • 3In a frying pan heated to medium, place dough in. Optionally spray pan with non-stick spray. Cook on both sides until a nice color is attained and is cooked throughout.
  • 4Serve in your favorite soup.
