Received a Gift From my Family a Williams Sonoma Lemon Bread Pan,This is the Recipe attached to the Pan,Thought I would share,Can't Wait to make it.

Ingredients

  • ·
    for bread:
  • 1 3/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1
    vanilla bean
  • 12 Tbsp
    1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter,melted
  • 2
    eggs,lightly beaten
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1
    lemon,need zest of finely grated
  • ·
    for the glaze:
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice

How to Make Lemon Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Have all ingredients at room temperature,position a rack in the lower third of an oven and preheat to 350'F(180'C) Grease & Flour a Lemon Bread Pan; Tap out Excess Flour To Make the Bread,in a bowl,whisk flour,baking powder,salt.Set Aside
  2. Put sugar in a blowout vanilla bean in half lengthwise,scrape seeds into a bowl rub seeds into sugar,add Butter,eggs,milk,zest whisk until blended,add flour mixture stir until blended.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan bake until toothpick inserted comes clean,55-60 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack let cool 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile make Glaze: In a Sauce pan over medium heat,combine sugar & Lemon Juice,Heat stirring occasionally,until sugar is dissolved Remove from heat.
  5. Tap the pan gently to loosen bread,set rack over a baking sheet,invert pan onto th e rack and lift off pan,Turn Loaf over and,using a Pastry Brush,brush the top and sides of bread with the Glaze. Let Cool Completely Before serving Makes 1 Loaf
