Super easy yet challah bread recipe. I found this on a forum and I wrote it down as "no fail" challah, and it has not failed me yet!

Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 packages active dry yeast
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 7 cups flour
- 1/2 cup oil
- EGG WASH
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 - egg
How To Make challah bread

Step 1Add 2 yeast packages to 2 c warm water. (Not too cold or the yeast wont rise, not too hot or you'll kill the yeast) Mix together.

Step 2Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tbsp salt, & 3 cups flour. Mix together.

Step 3Add one egg beaten and 1/2 cup oil. Mix together.

Step 4Add 4 cups flour. Mix well.

Step 5Let rise for an hour, punching it down at least 3 times during that hour.

Step 6Shape the dough (braid). Brush with egg topping. Let rise for 30 minutes.

Step 7Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
