Ingredients
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 large egg lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups biscuit mix
- 1 cup cheese, shredded (sharp) divided (4 oz)
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
How To Make onion cheese custard bread

Step 1in a skillet sauté onions in oil until golden brown take my little less than 7 mins after that set them to the side to cool

Step 2mix buttermilk and egg, stir in biscuit mix and onion and 1/2 cup of chesses pour into a well greased 9x13 round baking pan sprinkle poppy seeds and you rest if the cheese drizzle the melted butter (i like to put a little garlic powder sometimes) pop it in the oven @400 and bake for 30 -35 min or until golden brown cut it into wedges and enjoy
