- 1/8 cup molasses or honey
- 1/8 cup oil
- 1 cup pureed carrot (baby food works great)
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 package active dry yeast (2.5 teaspoons

IMPORTANT: If you don't have a theremometer to check the water temperature, sprinkle a few drops on the inside of your wrist.(Think baby formula) It should just be barely lukewarm. Step 2Whisk the molasses and oil together until well blended. Pour into bread machine on top of water Add carrots and poppy seeds Carefully add flour, making certain that liquid is completely covered by flour Make a small well in the top of flour and pour the yeast into the depression
