We had a local barbeque place named Up in Smoke in Keller Texas. It was a local icon but in the Fall of 2013 the owner retired and no one bought the business. They were famous for their corn fritters. So here is the recipe and I hope you enjoy them. They are my daughter and her friends" favorite

Ingredients
- 1 cup creamed corn(i use delmonte)
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
How To Make up in smoke corn fritters

Step 1Sift dry ingredients together then add egg to milk and mix with dry ingredients.

Step 2Fold in corn then drop spoonfuls or use a small ice cream scoop, into hot fat and fry until brown on both sides. They should be slightly smaller than a golf ball.

Step 3Drain on paper towels. Serve with Honey butter
