We like to enjoy jalapeno poppers and had a random idea to try creating them chopped up and putting them inside croissants. We tried it and it turned out to be a big hit.

Ingredients

8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1/2 lb
bacon
3-4 large
jalapeno peppers
1 pkg
croissants, jumbo size

How to Make Popper Croissants

Step-by-Step

  • 1Pre-heat Oven to 400*F. Place bacon on to cookie sheet and bake for 20min. This is part of prep time.
  • 2Chop Jalapenos, seeds and all but the stem.
  • 3In medium bowl add softened cream cheese and jalapenos and stir until well mixed.
  • 4Once bacon is crisp, chop in to bits and add to cream cheese and jalapeno mixture and stir well.
  • 5Adjust the oven temperature that to what is on croissant package.
  • 6Roll out croissants and put mixture on each croissant and roll, making sure to close up the ends where it will not come out during cooking.
  • 7Place on cookie sheets and cook according to croissant time on package.
  • 8Let stand a few minutes after cooking and enjoy!
