- 1-1/8 cup lukewarm water (105º max)
- 4 teaspoons butter
- 2-1/4 cup white bread flour
- 3/4 cup rye flour
- 2-1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1-1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cornmeal
- 1-1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 package rapid rise yeast (1/4 oz) or 2 teaspoons

Step 1IMPORTANT; PLACE INGREDIENTS IN THE BREAD MACHINE BAKING PAN IN THE EXACT ORDER LISTED ABOVE. Run tap water until lukewarm (105º max). If you don't have a thermometer test on the inside of your wrist. If water is too hot, it will kill the yeast action. Cut butter into 4 pieces
