1 call purpose flour

1 cyellow cornmeal
-
1 Tbspbaking powder
-
1 Tbspsugar
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1 cmilk
-
1/4 ccrisco oil
-
1egg
How to Make Down Home Cornbread
- Preheat the oven to 425, and spray a 8x8 baking pan with non stick spray. (I use Pam with butter or olive oil)
- In a large mixing bowl, mix all your dry ingredients together. In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, and oil together
- Make a 'well' in your dry ingredients and pour in the egg mixture and stir until completely incorporated.
- Pour into your prepared pan and bake at 425 for 25 minutes
