Ingredients

  • 4 ounces all purpose flour
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ounces butter

How To Make yorkshire pudding

  • Step 1
    Mix flour & salt in a bowl, make a hollow in the center and drop in the egg.
  • Step 2
    Stir with a wooden spoon and add liquid gradually until all flour is worked in.
  • Step 3
    Beat well and add remaining liquid.
  • Step 4
    Add hot fat from roasted joint (beef) to a hot cooking tin and pour the pudding mixture into tin.
  • Step 5
    Bake in a hot oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes for a large pudding or 20 minutes for smaller ones.
