  • 4 oz
    all purpose flour
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/3 tsp
    salt
  • 2 oz
    butter

How to Make Yorkshire Pudding

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix flour & salt in a bowl, make a hollow in the center and drop in the egg.
  2. Stir with a wooden spoon and add liquid gradually until all flour is worked in.
  3. Beat well and add remaining liquid.
  4. Add hot fat from roasted joint (beef) to a hot cooking tin and pour the pudding mixture into tin.
  5. Bake in a hot oven at 450 degrees
    Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes for a large pudding or 20 minutes for smaller ones.
