reduced carb pizza dough

I LOVE this crust. It's crispy, thin, and my pizza tasted delicious. If your not a mutigrain lover, then this probably isn't for you.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water, approx 85°
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 teaspoon lite sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon splenda
  • 1 1/4 cups flax seed meal, hodson mill
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour, king arthur
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour, king arthur
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast

How To Make reduced carb pizza dough

  • Step 1
    I used a bread machine for the dough. Place water and oil in pan and add yeast. Stir to dissolve yeast.
  • Step 2
    Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
  • Step 3
    Add dry ingredients to pan of wet ingredients. Place on DOUGH ONLY cycle.
  • Step 4
    Check after a few minutes to make sure everything is getting mixed together, run rubber spatula around edges if needed to remove any flour stuck on side.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle a tiny bit of wheat flour on counter top and roll half the dough out to about 1/8".
  • Step 6
    I baked my pizza's at 425° for about 20 min.
