I LOVE this crust. It's crispy, thin, and my pizza tasted delicious. If your not a mutigrain lover, then this probably isn't for you.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    water, approx 85°
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 tsp
    lite sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    splenda
  • 1 1/4 c
    flax seed meal, hodson mill
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour, king arthur
  • 1/2 c
    wheat flour, king arthur
  • 1 tsp
    active dry yeast

How to Make Reduced carb pizza dough

Step-by-Step

  1. I used a bread machine for the dough. Place water and oil in pan and add yeast. Stir to dissolve yeast.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
  3. Add dry ingredients to pan of wet ingredients. Place on DOUGH ONLY cycle.
  4. Check after a few minutes to make sure everything is getting mixed together, run rubber spatula around edges if needed to remove any flour stuck on side.
  5. Sprinkle a tiny bit of wheat flour on counter top and roll half the dough out to about 1/8".
  6. I baked my pizza's at 425° for about 20 min.
