Ingredients

  • 3 c
    self rising flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 pkg
    quick rise yeast
  • 1/2 c
    warm water
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar for yeast
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1 stick
    butter cold and into chunks
  • 1 1/2 c
    buttermilk or regular milk

How to Make Easy Angel Biscits

Step-by-Step

  1. In large bowl add the flour,sugar andbaking powder.
    Set aside
  2. In a small bowl add the yeast and the sugar and the water stir with wisk till blended set aside for at least 5 minutes till foamy.
  3. Add butter and shorting with flour and cut in with a pastry blender or 2 forks till crumbly , add yeast and milk
  4. mix till you have a soft dough (will be a little sticky) on a floured counter roll out dough and cut the biscuits the size you want let sit on top of warm stovetop for 10 minutes and bake at 400* till brown.
