Sometimes I make these and put in icebox and cook the next morning for breakfast.

3 c
self rising flour
1/2 c
1 pkg
quick rise yeast
1/2 c
warm water
1 Tbsp
sugar for yeast
1 1/2 Tbsp
baking powder
1 stick
butter cold and into chunks
1 1/2 c
buttermilk or regular milk

How to Make Easy Angel Biscits


  • 1In large bowl add the flour,sugar andbaking powder.
    Set aside
  • 2In a small bowl add the yeast and the sugar and the water stir with wisk till blended set aside for at least 5 minutes till foamy.
  • 3Add butter and shorting with flour and cut in with a pastry blender or 2 forks till crumbly , add yeast and milk
  • 4mix till you have a soft dough (will be a little sticky) on a floured counter roll out dough and cut the biscuits the size you want let sit on top of warm stovetop for 10 minutes and bake at 400* till brown.
