This is a favorite of ours for gatherings such as baby showers, bridal showers or parties that you would have like Tupperware, Party Lite, etc. This has always been a big hit.

2 pkg
cream cheese, 8 oz. each
1 c
sour cream
1 can(s)
water chestnuts, drained and chopped
2 pkg
frozen chopped spinach, (very well drained)
packet of lipton onion soup mix
(if desired, you may add a little bit of finely chopped onion & finely chopped small clove of garlic to taste)
2 pkg
of pita/pocket bread

How to Make Luncheon/Party Finger Sandwhiches


  • 1Mix the above ingredients in a bowl except for the pita/pocket bread. Cover & refrigerate a couple of hours before serving.
  • 2Slice pocked bread in halves.
  • 3Fill pocket bread with spread. Now cut in half again.
  • 4Serve mini sandwiches (which now are quartered) on pretty serving platter and serve.
  • 5Very tasty and great for bridal or baby showers.
