rose's stuffed mushrooms
We love stuffed mushrooms, so I came up with my own version. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
- 12 to 14 - (medium-sized) fresh mushrooms, cleaned/stems removed
- 2 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 3 tablespoons italian style bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons sour cream (optional)
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup bacon bits or crumbles
- 1/2 cup grated monterey jack cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground basil leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground oregano leaves
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash black pepper
- - olive oil to drizzle
How To Make rose's stuffed mushrooms

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 8x8 baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 2Mix the cheeses, bread crumbs, bacon bits, and spices together in a medium bowl. Stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture. Place upright in your baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 to 30 minutes.

Step 4NOTE: Instead of using the bacon bits inside, you can wrap each mushroom with a half slice of bacon before baking. Secure the bacon with a toothpick.
