My grandpa came from a Mennonite family, and my grandmother's family was Pennsylvania Dutch. This is a nice little recipe that I grew up on, and now as a grandmother, I make this for my family.

Ingredients
- 3 large cucumbers
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cups water
- 2 1/2 cups white vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
How To Make quick & easy refrigerator pickles

Step 1Slice cucumbers and onions thinly and place in air tight container.

Step 2In separate bowl add water, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Stir until sugar and salt are dissolved.

Step 3Pour water mixture over cucumbers making sure that they are completely. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
