Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
- 1 can mushroom pieces (4 oz)
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 - egg, beatened
- 1-2 tablespoon sesame seeds (no need to measure - just for sprinkling on top) optional
How To Make mushroom bites

Step 1Separate crescent roll dough into 8 rectangles; press perforations to seal.

Step 2Combine cream cheese, mushrooms and seasoned salt, mixing well.

Step 3Spread mushroom mixture in equal portions over each rectangle of dough.

Step 4Starting at long sides, roll up each rectangle jelly-roll fashion. Pinch seams to seal.

Step 5Slice logs into 1 inch pieces. Place seam side down on ungreased baking sheet.

Step 6Brush each log with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Step 7Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. YIELD: 4 dozen bites
