  • 2 can(s)
    refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
  • 1 can(s)
    mushroom pieces (4 oz)
  • 1 tsp
    seasoned salt
  • 1
    egg, beatened
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    sesame seeds (no need to measure - just for sprinkling on top) optional

How to Make Mushroom Bites


  1. Separate crescent roll dough into 8 rectangles; press perforations to seal.
  2. Combine cream cheese, mushrooms and seasoned salt, mixing well.
  3. Spread mushroom mixture in equal portions over each rectangle of dough.
  4. Starting at long sides, roll up each rectangle jelly-roll fashion. Pinch seams to seal.
  5. Slice logs into 1 inch pieces. Place seam side down on ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Brush each log with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
    YIELD: 4 dozen bites
