Ingredients

  • JALAPINO PEPPERS:

  • 6 medium
    jalapino peppers
  • 6 Tbsp
    ricotta cheese
  • 6 oz
    cream cheese
  • 4 Tbsp
    almonds or walnuts
  • 2 c
    vegetable oil
  • TEMPURA BETTER:

  • 3/8 c
    flour
  • 1/8 can(s)
    cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1
    egg white
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    water or light beer
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    paprika

How to Make JALAPINO POPPERS !!!

Step-by-Step

  1. JALAPINO PEPPERS:
  2. Using a sharp knife, cut a linghtwise slit down the center of each pepper. (DO NOT CUT THROUGH ). Remove the seed from peppers.
  3. In a medium bowl mash together ricotta cheese, cream cheese, and chopped nuts.
  4. One by one stuff each pepper with cheese mixture, until all are stuffed set aside.
  5. TEMPURA BATTER:
  6. Separate egg white. Beat until frothy and light (DO NOT OVER BEAT ), white should be vary liquid and should not reach a stage where a peak would hold.
  7. Fold all ingredients and beat only until smooth.
  8. Dip peppers into flour, then dip into Tempura batter. Fry in hot vegetable oil
