A fun a way to serve cheese and other treats on Halloween !

This is the fruit kabob version of the recipe I posted.

Ingredients

1 - small to med. round pumpkin
1 or 2 pounds block cheese - cubed - cheddar, montery jack, pepper jack, colby
1 package bologna, or other cooked meats - cubed - ex. smoked turkey
1 package cherry tomatoes - (opt)
1 package button mushrooms - cleaned - (opt)
1 jar cocktail onions - (opt)
1 jar small hot peppers - (opt)

How To Make halloween party pumpkin

Step 1

First draw or paint a face on the pumpkin. Lightly mark the 'hairline' area around the face. I dont know why you couldn't carve a face into the pumkin and use a tealight candle. Push a block of cheese, and bologna, & veggie, if using onto party tooth picks, or bamboo screwers. Leaving enough stick to push into pumpkin so that its firmly in place. Continue to make hair with filled tooth picks.

Step 2

Place finshed pumpkin on a pretty plate and set on your Boo-fet (buffet) table with assorted crackers for your Halloween guests ! I posted a ' Fruit Kabob' pix of this recipe party idea.
