cream cheese 12
12 slice
cooked or smoked ham
1 pkg
24 frozen, cooked shrimp (medium size)
1 bunch
fresh chives

TIP! BUY "MEDIUM" SIZED SHRIMP OR SMALLER FOR BEST RESULTS... BREAK AND STRETCH THE SHRIMP TO CREATE EVEN LAYERS

How to Make Bea's Ham Rolls

Step-by-Step

  • 1Set cream cheese out and allow to warm to room temperature
  • 2Thaw shrimp, remove tails, and pat dry
  • 3When Shrimp is thawed, lay ham slice flat and pat dry
  • 4Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on one side of each piece of ham
  • 5Place two shrimp, tails overlapping at short end of each slice of ham
  • 6Cut chives to 4 inch sections and slice once the long way to make strips out of each section
  • 7Place a chive strip paralell to shrimp
  • 8Roll up the ham, starting at the end with the shrimp and chives
  • 9Cut each ham roll into 4 bite-size sections and serve on a pretty platter garnished with red leaf lettuce
