When Bea brought this elegant appetizer to a Christmas party I had to know how she made them. Was I ever surprised to learn how easy it is! Prepare these ahead and be ready to party!

Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese 12
- 12 slices cooked or smoked ham
- 1 package 24 frozen, cooked shrimp (medium size)
- 1 bunch fresh chives
- TIP! BUY "MEDIUM" SIZED SHRIMP OR SMALLER FOR BEST RESULTS... BREAK AND STRETCH THE SHRIMP TO CREATE EVEN LAYERS
How To Make bea's ham rolls

Step 1Set cream cheese out and allow to warm to room temperature

Step 2Thaw shrimp, remove tails, and pat dry

Step 3When Shrimp is thawed, lay ham slice flat and pat dry

Step 4Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on one side of each piece of ham

Step 5Place two shrimp, tails overlapping at short end of each slice of ham

Step 6Cut chives to 4 inch sections and slice once the long way to make strips out of each section

Step 7Place a chive strip paralell to shrimp

Step 8Roll up the ham, starting at the end with the shrimp and chives

Step 9Cut each ham roll into 4 bite-size sections and serve on a pretty platter garnished with red leaf lettuce
