Threw this together last night and was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful they were. The two changes I made were to use butter, in place of oil, and the addition of the breadcrumbs. Plus, the dipping sauce, adds just the right amount of heat, and sweet. Easy/Peasy to make… great to eat. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

How To Make air fryer essentials: spicy cajun shrimp

  • Step 1
    PREP/PREPARE
  • Step 2
For this recipe, you will need an air fryer, or you could cook them in a convection oven.
  • Step 3
Gather your ingredients (mise en place).
  • Step 4
Combine the ingredients for the dipping sauce, and reserve.
  • Step 5
Peel the shrimp, remove the veins, but leave the tails on.
  • Step 6
Add the melted butter, and Cajun spice to a bowl (plus the breadcrumbs, if using) toss in the shrimp, and let sit for about 5 minutes.
