Ingredients For betty's tex-mex chicken wings

  • 3 pounds (1.5 kilos) chicken wingetts
  • 1 packet taco or fajita seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

How To Make betty's tex-mex chicken wings

    Pre-heat oven to 375oF/180oC and line a large baking tray with baking paper. Set aside.

    In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together using your hands - I use disposable kitchen gloves.

    Place on to the pre pared tray and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the tray, turn each wingette over and bake for a further 15 minutes OR until the chicken is cooked and juices run clear.

    Serve on a platter with a bowl of salsa, taco sauce or sour cream.
