Ingredients

  • 2 cups blanched almonds
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 2 tablespoons brandy

How To Make brandied almonds

  • Step 1
    Place almonds on a cookie sheet and toast in a 350 degrees oven until browned. Cream together butter, sugar sherry and brandy. While nuts are still hot, mix them with the sugar mixture. When well coated, spread out to cool. Pecans can also be used. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
