Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground pork sausage
- 1 cup finely diced button mushrooms
- 1 medium sweet onion
- 1 medium green pepper
- 1 medium red pepper
- 2 tablespoons italian dried herbs
- 1 teaspoon coarse pink sea salt
- 1 teaspoon cracked black, white, green & pink peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 18 slices slices mozzarella cheese
- 18 slices slices provolone cheese
- 4 cans fire roasted tomatoes (16 oz each)
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 18 potato slider rolls
- 1/4 cup fresh Parmesan cheese, fresh Parmensan & basil for garnish
How To Make italian sausage parmesan mushroom sliders

Step 1In a large mixing bowl add your meat, diced onions, diced mushrooms, diced peppers, salt, peppercorns, garlic powder, Onion powder, Italian herbs & Worcestershire sauce. Mix together to form your sliders. In each slider add a slice of mozzarella cheese to the center of the burger. Be sure to cover the cheese completely with your meat. Set aside.

Step 2In a pan on medium high heat add your fire roasted tomatoes sauté you’re remaining mushrooms that have been sliced to warm them. Drizzle olive oil on your buns & warm on the grill for 1-2 minutes.

Step 3Heat the grill & cook your burgers until done about 4-5 minutes on each side. Top with provolone cheese & let melt.

Step 4Place a burger on your bun top with fire roasted tomatoes, mushrooms & sprinkle with fresh Parmesan cheese.
