Ingredients

·cornmeal (for dusting pan)

2 csharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 csharp cheddar cold pack cheese, softened

1 cparmesan cheese, grated

1/4 tspgarlic powder

1/4 tspdried oregano

1/4 tspground cumin

4 largeeggs, beaten
-
1 jar(s)(2-oz) pimentos, sliced

1 can(s)(4-oz) jalapenos, drained and chopped

·cayenne pepper, to taste
How to Make Peppery Potluck Squares
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter a 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle cornmeal in pan, coating pan well.
- Cream cheeses until well-blended; add garlic powder, oregano and cumin. Beat in eggs. Stir in pimentos and jalapeños. Add cayenne pepper; mix ingredients well.
- Spread mixture in pan, smoothing top.
- Bake 30 minutes.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into bite-size cubes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
