pizza dough, store bought, or homemade
pizza sauce, store bought, or homemade
pepperoni, chopped
mozzarella, cut into 1/2-inch (1.2cm) cubes
parmesan cheese, for dusting after baking

How to Make Mouth Watering Baked Pizza Poppers


  • 2Gather your ingredients.
  • 3Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 375f (190c).
  • 4Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
  • 5Cut the dough into 2.5-inch (6cm) circles.
  • 6Add 1/2 teaspoon of pizza sauce to the center of each dough circle.
  • 7Add 1/2 teaspoon of chopped pepperoni.
  • 8Chef’s Note: You could use Italian sausage, ham, or whatever you wish.
  • 9Add a cube of cheese.
  • 10Fold up the edges, and pinch to seal at the top (like a beggar’s purse).
  • 11Chef’s Tip: Dip your finger in some water, and run it around the edges of the dough circle. This will help you seal it up.
  • 12Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • 13Place in the preheated oven until nice and brown, about 20 to 25 minutes.
  • 15Serve on a large platter with some warm pizza sauce, for dipping. Enjoy.
  • 16Chef’s Note: Sprinkle with some Parmesan and/or Italian herbs (optional).
  • 17Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
