These yummy peppers are named for the friend who gave me the recipe one day when we barbecued while he was here for a visit. They've been a family favorite ever since.

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh jalapeno peppers
- 1 package turkey bacon
- 1 package cream cheese, low-fat
- 1 package precooked beef fajita meat
- 1 package toothpicks
How To Make erwin's bacon wrapped jalapenos

Step 1Slice jalapenos in half lengthwise.Remove seeds and membranes. Be sure to wear gloves during this step so you don't get jalapeno juice on your hands as it can cause skin irritation. Do not touch your eyes.

Step 2Stuff each jalapeno half with cream cheese.

Step 3Lay a strip of fajita meat over cream cheese.

Step 4Wrap with a strip of bacon and insert a toothpick into bacon to hold it closed.

Step 5Place on grill until bacon is cooked and pepper is heated through.
