Ingredients

  • 1 - (8-oz) wheel camembert cheese
  • 1 cup white wine, dry
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup salted almonds, finely chopped

How To Make camembert almond balls

  • Step 1
    Soak cheese wheel in wine for at least eight hours or overnight, turning cheese occasionally. Drain wine and discard.
  • Step 2
    Press cheese through coarse sieve or food mill; blend with softened butter. Chill cheese mixture until slightly firm.
  • Step 3
    Shape into small balls about 3/4 inch in diameter; roll in almonds.
