Ingredients
- TOASTED CHEESY GARLIC BREAD
- 3 slices garlic sourdough bread
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- pinch cayenne pepper
- DIPPING SAUCE
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 small red onion
- 1 small garlic clove
- pinch ground black pepper
- 4 ounces tomato sauce
How To Make toasted cheesy garlic sticks

Step 1Toast Garlic Sourdough Bread- place slices with sides touching top w/ shredded cheese

Step 2place under broiler until bubbly then remove

Step 3-sprinkle with cayenne pepper, then top with additional cheese broil then remove and set aside until cool

Step 4when cool enough to handle and cheese is set

Step 5turn over and cut lengths into approx. 1 inch wide sticks for dipping Eat while hot

Step 6Instructions for Dipping Sauce:

Step 7On low heat saute 1sm. red onion diced add garlic pieces diced brown in 1 tbls. extra virgin olive oil cook on medium heat until translucent

Step 8add 1/2 can tomato sauce sprinkle to taste oregano seasoning Stir until thickened to desired consistency

Step 9Keep hot until bread is toasted then place in small dipping bowl placed on platter Place cheese sticks onto platter Serve & Enjoy
