blackberry pecan baked brie

My Wonderful Husband is a HUGE Cheese fan! I mean HUGE. So I love Pinterest and I love my Husband, on pinterest all I ever see is Baked Brie's for the Christmas Season.... I my mother told me I should attempt to make a brie,and I did! WOW I was so amazed at the flavors and easiness of the whole thing, I will always be making one for the Christmas Season's to come! I suggest of you love cheese as much as my Husband does, you should defiantly give this a try! Enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • 1 - french brie ( 13.4 oz)
  • 2 boxes puff pastry sheet, thawed
  • 1 jar blackberry jam 8-11 oz ( i used blackberry pecan )
  • 1 - handful of fresh pecans
  • 1 large egg beaten

How To Make blackberry pecan baked brie

  • Step 1
    pre-heat oven to 350*
  • Step 2
    place all puff pastries in a large square shape on a flat surface,
  • Step 3
    unwrap the brie and place in the center of the four corners of the pastries
  • Step 4
    add jelly/jam
  • Step 5
    add pecans
  • Step 6
    start folding pastry over the top of the brie and toppings, you will have to trim off excess puff pastry dough.
  • Step 7
    spray pam or rub butter onto a cookie sheet, and place tightly wrapped brie into the center of the pan, beat one egg in a cup or bowl, brush onto puff pastry and bake for 30-35 mins
  • Step 8
    Remove from oven once pastry is golden brown, and slice and serve immediately ! GREAT with fresh pineapple and strawberries and black grapes. We cracked open a bottle of Sparkling Apple Cider with it, and it was sooooooooo good! I pray this amazing dish finds its way to you table soon!!!! Enjoy!!!!
