My Aunt Mildred used to make these. This is very easy to make. It is a welcome addition to most any meal. They have a fantastic taste too.

Ingredients For roasted shallots

1 lbshallots, peeled
-
extra virgin olive oil

salt to taste.

white pepper to taste.
How To Make roasted shallots

1Heat oven to 450°F.

2Put shallots in a single layer in a baking dish. Coat shallots and inside of the baking dish with olive oil.

3Roast shallots for 15 minutes, shaking the dish every 5 minutes to be sure shallots are not sticking.

4Turn shallots over and roast for 5 minutes more.

5Add salt and white pepper to taste.
