I did not find it to taste like cheesecake. It's a very unique and buttery flavor. It really is good.

It's not a roll, just baked in a 9 x 13 pan and sliced into squares.

Great question Kathryn. I was wondering the same thing. Kitchen Crew, please respond and let us know what you did. Did you use 2/3 of the batter on the bottom and then sprinkle the remaining on top? Thank you.

It's hard to tell from this photo, but is the cake mix making a crust on top too? Or is it a crumble top? Or just the way the slice is laying on the plate that it looks that way?
