Before my husband grilled them. Ever start putting something together and realize it's going to be good before it's even done? These burgers are one of those things.
My burger on a bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard and mayo. I actually liked the second burger plain better than the one on the bun. Both were yummy! This recipe is a keeper. 5/27/13
Made 5 hamburger patties. Three hiding under the wax paper. I read somewhere to put indentations in the center of the burgers before grilling. I think it was to keep them from shrinking. I think it worked! LOL 5/27/13
Mine's supposed to be for coffee and spices, but I'm too cheap to buy a lot of coffee beans. My husband drinks his coffee very strong and a few times a day, so it's an expensive habit for him so as it is, lol. I forgot, I put crushed rosemary in it, too. I have a spice grinder attachment on my food processor, but I don't like it. It's one of those ten-in-one appliances, but I don't like that feature; it uses a blender blade and just isn't as sharp as the little grinder.
And I made the Montreal seasoning myself. Pepper, salt, dried onion, ground up coriander on my spice grinder, and dried garlic grinder, and hot pepper flakes. Put it in an empty spice container and shook them up, so now I have it on hand.
Oh yeah, sure did! I made two yesterday, then the other two today because after I told the man about them, he could wait until today. First day I did four slices of bacon. Today I did six to kill the package. When you cook them really crisp, they shrink so much, it's worth it. And the broth kind of reconstituted them, so they were just the right mix of crunchy and chewy. The beef and charcoal made both the bacon and cheese get smoky and savory. He wants me to check out some more of Freda's recipes; and she does have a lot of good sounding ones.

I don't know why my phone tends to mess up my prepositions when I try to type, lol
