Made 5 Hamburger Patties. Three Hiding Under The Wax Paper. I Read Somewhere To Put Indentations In The Center Of The Burgers Before Grilling. I Think It Was To Keep Them From Shrinking. I Think It Worked! Lol 5/27/13

Thanks Cin. I clicked on the link to the Amish Bread Pudding as I know the Amish know how to cook great tasting goodies. I pinched the recipe and will try it sometime. 5/30/13

I also make this AMISH BREAD PUDDING I got the recipe from an Amish web site though and they suggest using 'bread of choice'.

You can follow any bread pudding recipe and use whatever bread you desire.
I even make it using cinnamon-raison bread, cinnamon rolls, orange rolls, donuts......whatever I have on hand.

I'm not sure but this may be the only bread pudding recipe I have posted on JAP... Cin's Version of the "Sugar-Free Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce"
You can sub any breads and you can also use vanilla or your favorite extract instead of whiskey in the sauce.

You could also use them to make a bread pudding.

I sat on the burger and squashed it to smithereens....LOL... Not quite; but I did press it down really hard. It went together rather nicely. LOL I will definitely not waste the money on buying buns next time. I had one bun out of a pkg of 8 and hub who is cutting back on "whites" did not have any. Now I have 7 buns to dispose of. Think we'll have sloppy joes soon. 5/28/13

I like my burgers w/o the bun best too. I do like the lettuce, tomato and onion with it though.
