Picnic, BBQ's & Sumertime Family favorite. My Husband is a fan of "Bacon Cheeseburgers", but he doesn't like all the fat and grease, So I decided to experiment and this is what I came up with and is his favorite GRILLED CHEESEBURGER today. Hopefully you'll try this and find it a keeper just as I did.

We love how Freda incorporates the flavor of bacon right into the burgers themselves. We opted to use the beef broth and each burger turned out perfectly moist and savory. Next time we may try adding more kinds of cheeses... That's always a good idea, right?! Enjoy.

Ingredients For bacon cheeseburgers to die for

  • 1 lb
    ground sirloin ( burger)
  • 1 c
    grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c
    real bacon bits
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    montreal steak seasoning
  • 1/4 c
    water, cold or beef broth works well.

How To Make bacon cheeseburgers to die for

    Light your grill. (I prefer charcoal briquettes.) Allow coals to get nice and hot. Mix ingredients in order given. Shape into four patties. Make the patties flat, as they plump up when cooked.

    Place on hot grill and cook to preferred doneness.

    Serve as usual with all your favorite trimmings & condiments: lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. Enjoy!
