This Is More Of A Cake Like Texture Than Firm And Solid Pound Cake Texture, But Wonderful Flavor, Light And Fluffy Cake.
I Would Not Call This A Pound Cake. . . But Rather A Nice Fluffy Light Cake. . .
A Very Good Tasty Cake.

Nancy you can't go wrong with a poundcake. My husband and kids love them too. I would make one or two a week, they would cut them in the morning and lightly toast the piece and put a little butter or jam and eat it in the car going to work or me taking them to the school bus. I posted this after I made the coconut pound cake, it's great, if you want I have alot in my recipe box. If you try them please post a picture, love to see it.

WOW. my mother was a huge fan of pound cakes.. did not matter what kind.. she liked them all and today, she passed down the tradition. I love them and so does my grown children. I think I have two favorites.. one being a chocolate pound cake and the other, my mothers favorite of all times, sour cream pound cake. We all like coconut so this will probably be among my souvenirs. Thank you for sharing this.
