I'm a southern cook by heart and soul, but I'm comfortable with other dishes, too. It's a handed down skill from generations and thankfully many of my favorite recipes are handed down as well.

In the past I have written a recipe column for local newspapers and when I retire from my "real job", I'll probably start typing away again.
