Initially from Alaska, my family moved to the Kansas City area when I was 5, & here I remain, still on the same street but in my grandparents' house.

I have 2 hateful cats & 1 wonderful "gentleman friend." I love to cook & am very interested in historical cooking, especially Medieval recipes. Bread baking is another favored pastime. I also love gardening (esp herbs), reading, history, pottery, camping, travel & so many other things!

Please don't let my wordy style of writing scare you away from using my recipes. Most are fairly easy to make. But I do like to give lots of tips and details!
